This Privacy Policy explains how DDaily ("we", "us") handles information when you use our Service. We aim to collect only what we need to provide a useful, private decision-support experience.

2. Information We Collect

We collect information you provide directly, information generated through your use of the Service, and a limited amount of technical information necessary to operate it.

3. Account Information

When you create an account we store your email address and, if you provide it, your display name. Authentication is handled through our backend provider.

4. Profile and Personal Context

If you complete your profile, we store the context you provide (such as life situation, priorities and challenges) so your AI Board can give more relevant guidance.

5. Decisions and Reports

We store the decisions you submit and the reports generated for them, so you can review history and outcomes over time.

6. Goals, Memories, Outcomes and Decision Mirror

If you use these features we store the goals, memories and outcome notes you enter. These are used to personalize future reports and to power the Decision Mirror.

7. Payment Information via Paddle

Paid subscriptions are processed by Paddle, which acts as the merchant of record. Paddle handles your payment details. DDaily does not store full payment-card information. We receive a limited subscription status (active, canceled, billing period) so we can grant or revoke Pro access.

8. AI Processing

To generate reports, the relevant decision context (your situation, profile snapshot, and saved memories where applicable) is sent to AI providers via our backend. Providers process this content to return a response and may retain it briefly under their own policies.

9. How We Use Information

We use information to operate the Service, generate reports, personalize your experience, communicate with you about your account, and protect against abuse.

10. How We Protect Information

We use industry-standard transport encryption and access controls. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to safeguard your data.

11. Data Retention

We retain account data for as long as your account is active. You can delete data at any time from within the app. When you delete your account we remove your personal data on a reasonable schedule, subject to legal retention requirements.

12. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to access, correct, export or delete your personal data. Contact us at the address below to exercise these rights.

13. Cookies and Analytics

We use essential cookies and similar storage to keep you signed in. We may use privacy-respecting analytics to understand product usage in aggregate.

14. Third-Party Providers

We rely on third-party providers for hosting, authentication, AI processing, payments (Paddle) and transactional email. Each provider only receives the data necessary to perform its function.

15. International Processing

Your information may be processed in countries other than your own. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for international transfers.

16. Children

DDaily is intended for users 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

17. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the Service.
